In addition to the recently featured Air Jordan 1 BHM, an initial glimpse at its Nouveau edition is now revealed, as the silhouette essentially celebrates Black History Month — an annual celebration of achievements by black Americans and a time for recognizing African Americans in U.S. history.
While an overview of the entire silhouette is not yet available, it’s apparent that the sneaker inherits a predominantly Black hue and comprised of premium leather. The defining colorful Kente print is seen across the tongue, while the tongue tab bears its respective theme.
You can expect to find this silhouette at select JB and Nike stockists starting January 16, 2016 for a retail price tag of $150. Stay tuned in to KicksOnFire for further updates.
I’m a fan of the silhouette, but clearly, more pics are needed for a final judgement. The theme is respectable none the less and the colorway is pretty versatile if it’s all-black on the outer.
